Some things you may use a one-off health coaching session for:

πŸ«€ Preparing for a medical appointment

Often we wait for weeks or months for a medical appointment, only to have 5-10 mins to communicate everything we are experiencing. 

This can mean that even when we are experiencing multiple, related issues, only one symptom is discussed. This means means that issues are not addressed holistically and useful diagnoses may be missed.

Preparing in advance and having clear notes helps you communicate concisely, keep conversation on track, and aid your practitioner to quickly understand what’s going on for you.

This can alleviate stress and anxiety around appointments, and improve appointment outcomes, moving you in the direction you want to go.

We can:

  • Capture your symptoms in detail

  • Clarify and articulate your concerns in ways that will make sense to your practitioner

  • Prepare questions to ask your practitioner

  • Focus on the outcome you want from the appointment

  • Visualise how the appointment may go

  • Build your confidence to advocate for yourself

  • Organise your notes in a way that could be handed to your doctor/practitioner or stored in your file

Make a plan to address a specific area of your lifestyle or health. Reduce overwhelm, overcome procrastination and reduce friction to taking action.

We can:

  • Break things into small, actionable steps

  • Setting priorities

  • Identify practical strategies

  • Identify and overcome potential resistance and barriers

You could use this one-time session to support you on things like:

  • Exercise

  • Meal prepping

  • Sleep 

  • Home environment management

  • Habits and routines

πŸ’‘ Note: often we need to trial and adjust plans based on what works and what doesn’t. Even if it seems practical in theory, emotional or mental resistance may occur when putting it in action, and this may require a follow up session/expose the need for longer term coaching support.

Sometimes, you're too close to a problem to see what's really holding you back. A one-time session can help you step back, reflect, and gain clarity.

We can:

  • Identify patterns or blind spots that may be keeping you stuck

  • Offer an outside perspective to help you see your situation differently

  • Reflect back what you're experiencing so you can find your next steps with more confidence

If you're looking to uncover the root cause of a complex health issue, this requires ongoing support.

Major physiological changes

Weight loss, managing or reversing chronic conditions, or significant shifts in how your body responds to stress take time and consistency.

About Natalie

I’ve spent my entire life learning how to work with my body instead of against it. Living with a life-long chronic condition, I know how frustrating it can be to feel stuckβ€”doing all the β€˜right’ things but still not feeling great.

I also know how complex it can be to manage appointments and health records, organise my thoughts and notes, and overcome overwhelm to make seemingly β€˜simple’ changes. 

Through lived experience, research, and training, I’ve developed a more holistic approach to healthβ€”one that goes beyond just food and movement to include thoughts, emotions and unrecognised stress.

Now, as a Health Coach, Personal Trainer, Dance Instructor, and Functional Breathing Instructor, I help others explore what’s going on beneath the surface, make meaningful adjustments, and start feeling better in a way that actually lasts.

I work with clients in-person in Guildford, Surrey, and virtually across the UK, Europe, the USA, and beyond.
